as you can see still have some final bending to do on those metal lines


and for future notice if any of you guys are doing the metal lines on one of these trucks take the engine out. its a bitch and a half to do it with it in there.

ok i know its been a long time but progress has been made just hadnt posted it



im currently working on replacing the water pump because when i went to bleed the brakes it started pissing water out of the passenger side seal on the block

ok just so you guys know i did get the water pump on and now not leaking. but i just gone done moving to a house where i actually have a garage so im hoping if all goes well to get the bed off and start getting into the back half of the drop

well guys sadly enough i still havnt got the back dropped but im doing other things!
had to drain the trans because of the speedometer cable i replaced start leaking!

and heres the wonderful gasket job the previous owners did on the trans pan. it leaked a little but not enough for me to do something about it till now

Fluid in it looked real good at least. dont mind the random coolant in the pan from where i drained the radiator in prep to replace it also while i was at it.

got the filter changed and that nasty old gasket off.

got the new powder coated pan and gasket on.

then i started to tackle the radiator removal before i called it quits for the night and got a shower

tomorrow im hoping to track down a extension housing seal so i can change the drive and driven gear while im at this

almost forgot to post up the new gears

got a new housing 39 tooth driven, with a 15 tooth drive + new retainer clips

heres the intake i hope to get on that motor at some point its a weiand. its one of the ones i was looking at getting and when a local guy threw it up at 50$ i couldnt pass on it.
