got it started with the other carb.

went to dig into the orginal one found out they used the wrong fuel filter. it didnt have a opening to allow fuel to come out of the line. so now its back on and running good minus issues with the choke never wanting to idle down when in park.

transmission seems to need some work first gear is good but second seems like its slipping and can be very hard to get it into third but when it dose hit 3rd that truck just wants to keep going faster lol.

also got some new aluminum wheels from a friend for 100$. il get some pics of that in the morning

when i was getting the tires changed earlier found out this truck is 100% rust free underneath other then the normal surface stuff

truck also drew blood today when i was getting off the top of the grill

small update: changed out spark plugs today. started looking at the modulator vacuum line found they had it on the wrong port. switched it over to the correct one and tranny is now shifting fine 1st - 3rd gear. BUT they used vacuum house so it cant shift at WOT currently. ordered a new metal vacuum line from summit that should be some time next week that will save me the money of having to rebuild the tranny for now :) . Also im going to be ordering a new carb for the truck when they rebuilt that quadrajet they screwed up the seats for the metering pins and i dont have the know how to fix it.

well good news damn tax return finally got in my account.

found out that if you order 800ish dollars worth of parts the bank likes to lock down your card lol.
