yeah they are, but that is because they are just culturally ingrained breaks that there is no reason to get rid of, and the significance lies with the name of the break, as do a lot of things that hold philosophical or religious sacrement, otherwise it isn't viewed in a spiritual light.....
i just feel like they are over-appeasing steps into culture assimliation, and its a huge load of hypocrisy, otherwise i woudln't care
chris, the hypocrisy would be in permitting one set of holidays which have admittedly religious connotations because you identify with them, while denying another set of religious holidays on the grounds that you do not personally identify with them
