I meant actively fighting against discriminating based on looks. We all do it, it's completely natural, and it's going to be great when the media "has a conversation" about it.

My point still stands. It's not 50/50. It's been well researched that your political identity also determines how much you value aesthetics over content. Surprise surprise, every study shows that conservatives value aesthetics over content. That's why Trump is leading in the polls. A forceful speech resonates more with conservatives than a well reasoned argument.
