How it works
You send me ANY amount of fg and who you think will win the Democrat primary. If your candidate wins, you share the pot proportionally with all the other people who chose the same candidate as you.

Example
Person A sends 500 fg and bets on Hillary Clinton
Person B sends 100 fg and bets on Hillary
Person C sends 1000 fg and bets on Joe Biden
Person D sends 5 fg and bets on Bernie Sanders
This gives a total fg of 1605 in the pot.

If Clinton wins the primary: Person A gets 1337.5 fg and Person B gets 267.5
If Biden wins the primary: Person C gets 1605 fg
If Sanders wins the primary: Person D gets 1605 fg

Rules
DO NOT post who you voted for or how much fg you sent. Feel free to post that you submitted in this thread though. You MAY NOT switch your candidate and you can only pick ONCE. Once you submit, the decision is final.

I'll keep accepting bets for about a week so that there isn't a significant advantage in waiting. Then, I will post what each person paid and their candidate so we know what the pool looks like. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or post in this thread. Also, you are allowed to participate in BOTH the GOP primary pool AND the Democrat primary pool.

As nice of an idea as it is I would really push this back, if you're going to keep the ~1 week window.

Biden could wait until the first week in October to announce. I'm not saying I'd throw in with him, but I wouldn't do it now.

There is no list of candidates in this thread. You can submit a bid for anyone. If you think Santa is going to win the Democratic bid, you can put your chips in for the Big Man in the North.

Do you mean the Iowa primary (caucuses)? Or overall?
