But the actual voting is so still over a year away, so what's the point of betting now and having TC hold on to the fg?

Seems like if you place a bet now, he'll be the real winner.

This. TC, I expect a return on my investment, whether I win or not.

We've all known him for like five years. He's pretty GG. I don't think he'll pull a Madoff on us.

And lets be honest. FG isn't that susceptible to inflation. The worth has actually gone up since 2011.

Do you mean the Iowa primary (caucuses)? Or overall?

This is what I'd really like for someone to run. I might even track down the ~20k I loaned out and never bothered to claw back.

Edit: because "borrowed" and "bothered" are different words.

As nice of an idea as it is I would really push this back, if you're going to keep the ~1 week window.

Biden could wait until the first week in October to announce. I'm not saying I'd throw in with him, but I wouldn't do it now.

Edit: Also, what if I have another candidate in mind? ;)

The reason I have a one week window is because I like the aspect of "high risk, high reward." The people who bet on Biden now could end up very rich fg wise.

The GOP one is especially interesting because we have 17 candidates to choose from.

It will be a long time, that's for sure. Again, high risk, high reward.

I will host another blind odds pool once the candidates have been decided.
