Hillary mentions this double standard in her book. When she talks frankly and passionately about something, she's "shrill, angry, etc". When Trump or other male politicians do it, people think it's a positive character quality.

Hillary's not going to go away just because the Trump cult wants her to... the majority of Americans voted for her, and she received more votes than any presidential candidate in history not named Barack Obama. She'd be stupid not to write a book after a historical presidential campaign.

Again, Mccain went back to ‘work’ in the Senate and Mittens back to his hedge fund. neither did a sore loser tour hawking a book and throwing temper tantrums about the election they lost. I don't recall Dole or Kerry doing anything remotely close to this either.
e: i think the only one that threw a similar tantrum was Gore, but he went with the 'lecture about climate change while residing in a 10,000 sq ft mansion' route
