Fined for what? If you build or clear it you'll need permits but if you just keep it the way it is and just hold onto it you would get fined if you didn't pay taxes.

If there is no access to it that could be a huge problem. You might be "trespassing" just getting to your property. Is there a property line marked? Can you google the property and find out?

Edit: True Detective is fucking amazing, I felt the same with how long it takes to get going but you will either be completely blown away or just hate the show due to the length it takes to get to the end.
TD2, whole new story with new ppl, is one that you could watch when TD1 is too slow. TD2 seemed to me to be a little more action packed through out. Not sure if they are making a 3rd.
