Has anyone here bought/sold land before?

Found a pretty awesome deal, but have no knowledge in this area.
Checked out the market in my area, and it's 100% an amazing deal. My cousin bought land nearby it today.

It's far away from where I live. Would not live there any time soon if I do buy this land. It's basically in the woods, covered with trees and whatnot.
It's extremely affordable, yearly tax and all.

I do but good Lord this is pretty slow, don't even know what's going on.

Hard to say, I'll give any shows a try.

I do like the post apocalyptic type shows though (The 100, Walking Dead obv, etc)

Why the fuck do people like TWD? I tried on multiple different occasions to watch it, the horrible fucking acting, horrendous script/dialogue, just fucking down right atrocious CGI, and to top it off its a zombie show.
Not knocking your taste but I mean that is one show I will never spend time on again...it reminds me of some short film from a really REALLY REALLY Indie film festival that somehow made it to a show and the creators took the money and just got really high and never invested time into making it aesthetically pleasing.

I think it's more of a habit than anything at this point. Quality has been going downhill for the longest time now and slowly finding myself less interested with the slow pacing now. Comic books are so much better.

What's wrong with zombie shows?

Depends, is the timber marketable or just shit?
How many acres are you going to buy?
What time of timber is it?
How much of the land is timber?
Does it have a well or would you need water set up?
Are there any pleasing things about it? ie, river, fruit trees, flat?

Nothing is wrong with them but if you're going to make one it can't be a 13 ep long season with only 3 ep's full of actual zombie shit going on.
It should have been nothing more than a short series or a trilogy movie that went to dvd. People just bought it up and got their dick's hard because of the zombie craze.
There are zombie movies from the 80's that have better everything than this show and yet people don't like those movies...LOL.

Edit: True Detective is fucking amazing, I felt the same with how long it takes to get going but you will either be completely blown away or just hate the show due to the length it takes to get to the end.
TD2, whole new story with new ppl, is one that you could watch when TD1 is too slow. TD2 seemed to me to be a little more action packed through out. Not sure if they are making a 3rd.

I can agree with the lack of action, more of people killing each other than zombie confrontations, so silly for being a post-apocalyptic show. A lot of stuff about the show was just badly done but they're making cash hand over foot so screw us, right?

I think you'd like the comics though, so well written and everything pulled together.

Idk what you mean by timber marketable. :F It's loaded with trees, basically in the woods. Which is fine with me.
9.2 acres for $19,500 is the price.

Maybe pic will help

I'd grab that even if I never did anything with it.
That's $2k an acre.

Why is this a question? Can you access it by road? Is it in the middle of someone else's 4000 acres? Because 2k an acre is a fucking steal anywhere really. You could most likely make that back just selling the trees if you cleared it.
