You act like the same doesn't apply to football, where the casual fan sees nothing but the 12 minutes of actual playtime where they follow the ball.

No it doesnt. There is 0 contact in baseball. The most interesting part of baseball is a guy hitting a ball hard enough the other team just concedes it's too far to go get.

I'm a huge fan of basketball. Probably my favorite sport, but it's still broken down into 5 dudes trying to stop 5 other dudes from getting a ball through a small hole. All sports can be broken down into small shit that doesn't really matter, but baseball is the only one that has 0 interesting parts about it.

Uhm yeah you must not watch baseball, excluding the bench clearing brawls and petty fights, there is still "contact"... sliding into bases, outfielders running into eachother, etc. Sure not as much "contact" as the other major sports but you can't seriously say "0 contact".

You won't be disappointed, one of the best single seasons of televison, jadeoshbogosh will vouch. The character acting by McConaughey and Harleson is phenominal.

If you like True Detective check out Fargo too, another really good crime drama.

Gonna go see Beauty and the Beast with my girl tonight, I hope its great, I remember feeling so gushy after watching the first one when I was a kid
