please don't take silence into this, it's just my thought
do you want the healer ( no matter who it is) to watch drops or to heal our party members?

i didn't intend to offend you, again, I'm probably just used to killing EPs before looking at drops

I'm my experience if a player is good enough to heal a group then he's easily good enough to take a split second and check drops when the fights under control, the charm dropped off the 3rd to last ep at lvl45-50ish can't remember what level. So at that point anyone could have looked. Usually most people if they see a timer counting down on an item they also look to see if it's crap or not. I had no idea we had some sort of Datis drops system going on or any prearranged rules, my fault.

Most players will always take a quick glance at the Item Drops, usually looking for a specific tier (such as tier X, for example) The stats are irrelevant - you can check that out later. But if you don't click on it, it will either go poof, or someone else will get it. Stay alert and be ready at all times to try to get what you are looking for, but remember - you may not be the only one hoping to get it. That being said - there should be no crying in public just because you did not get a drop.

we had no drop system going or anything, we usually just kill evils before we look at the drops, or at least click when its safe ( 1-2 remaining)

This game is not going to grow because it is too hard to start.

To be a growing game, new players need to be able to work hard to be the best or at least have the illusion that being the best is reachable. Personally I have 500k kills and I quit because:

1) No matter how lucky I was, I would NEVER find gear that compared to the unspawnable gear that people could use from lvl 1 to MQ.
2) Playing solo was not a feasible leveling option and committing 2+ hours to a group was too large of a commitment on a regular basis.
3) The economy was moving too slowly because the rate of finding gear was too low.

actually I was one of the 4 other people, along with 3 more silencers and I feel a little disappointed that we were in a big wave of EPs (in HC) and he just went grabbing it, we didn't even look at the drops...

dont get me wrong, powertripped is a good clicker but still I wish we had at least an equal chance to get it

also saw this and just thought " you'd be more than welcome and happy to play in a hc guild"

why so butt hurt ? :bonk:

Sorry Dante, the old rule in HC of NOT CLICKING ON DROPS until wave is completed has gone out the window... this was a shock when I came back after a break... it is going to shite and I think it is because softcore mentality is coming over to hardcore on drops.

why the heck would u wait to pick something up sounds stupid

It sounded stupid to me when I first went to HC... then I was the only healer trying to keep everyone alive and I had NO time to click on an item.
Thus it is actually fair to the whole group... a Healer in group is still invited in group run.

Last I played softcore... it was not an issue to see healer ignore clicking on others and click on drops.
