This community is less than an hour North of my city and just outside of Dayton.

In 2008 while canvassing for the AFL-CIO a mob more or less followed us around calling us 'nigger lovers' and 'race traitors'. One of our black employees had an assault rifle pointed at him outside of a drive-through beer/cig place while being called a 'nigger'.

Not surprising that this happened in that little white trash suburb.

I knocked on one person's door there and peaked in and it looked like she was in the chair dead. I just left, after considering how the police might respond. Stupid rednecks with badges and guns are never good.

This story just got worse for the cops. Good. Released surveillance video shows the cops didn't even TRY to apprehend him. As soon as he was in sight, they gunned him down. Yet somehow, the cops have been cleared by other cops.

We really need to have a societal discussion about police accountability, and have reform to police oversight away from cops policing cops. There has to be a better way, and these cops clearly do not deserve "qualified immunity."
