the fact that they have changed that much since then is really refreshing seeing as most games don't get as much as guild wars 2 does

though I know it took them a whole long time to get a new flametouched light armor skin and it was just so awful what they finally re released

The fact that you hit 80 and have nothing to do despite the numerous changes in the game is mind boggling. Sure they churn out (shitty) content alright, you can farm for a week and you get a cool pointless halo/horns, that's some sick content. The sitting around running to piles of rubble is fun too. I especially like escorting children out of a warzone as they casually stroll to the exit. But all in all my favorite part is the reward system being based on the team effort, not only abused by people who enter and afk but literally impossible to solo to even the first tier reward.

Farm for months to get ascended gear and you're only a sliver stronger than someone in auction house gear.

The dungeons are boring, 90% of the mobs are ran past anyways. Fractals are gear-checked by agony resist, better farm that ascended gear so you can do the end-game content.

There aren't any raids. Raids are world events but they're nothing but cheesy zergs with little to no planning required.

The personal story primarily consisted of standing behind NPCs and dealing damage. And attacking with siege weapons.

The pvp might as well be a different game from gw1, which is I'm sure why 80% of the initial snap buys happened, but I've had more fun in sc2 custom arena maps than I do in pvp.

Don't get me wrong, the leveling experience was one of the best I'd experienced in an MMO, but after you hit cap there is literally nothing to do. Crafting/exploring/cheesing dungeons is not fun. And still I could forgive all of this if pvp was interesting, but they removed EVERYTHING that made gw1 fun.

The incredibly engaging and innovative system of prot/heal backlines, spike/pressure metas, and teamwork required to play at a high level in gw1 has been replaced with a battlefield style cap system that encourages people to build tanks and sit on them while the rest roam.

A D2fag complains about lack of endgame content, that's irony. Go suck off Baal while Blizzard ass rapes you with D3.

D3 is the hands down worst pile of filth I've ever played.

A lack of end-game content? I feel sorry for people who can't have fun in game unless the devs continuously dangle a carrot in front of their faces...

D2 endgame was the best...what with botting/farming/duping nonstop to get the same gear that everyone else had and what not...best ever!

D3 had better endgame content than gw2 and it was indeed a piece of garbage I also snap-bought.

Not that I've played d2 in years, but the game's pvp was very entertaining and the pve while boring was kept alive by the goal of having something to work towards that strengthened your character. There was always the chance at a godly rare drop and provided you weren't cap, which 99% of the players weren't, you felt justified in doing things in the game beyond beating it. What does gw2 have? Oh boy more skill points!

Since you have a point playing beyond level cap, something gw2 lacks entirely, something a fanboi like yourself would disagree with.
