The money vJax is asking isn't gonna be short term though is it? He's gonna be looking to what, 3 years? or more?

yea supposedly he wants a long term contract around 5-6 years.. and the rumor is as he's asking for more than 10 mil a year with the bidding wars it could get up to about 13-14 mill a year which is pretty hefty price, the Bucs have that money but tough to swallow if he doesn't pan out.

He's a proven player - and tbh, I think any team getting him for 11mill per year would be lucky. He's worth the money, just based on his consistancy and doesn't he have like 18.5yards per carry? Crazy numbers

Eric Wright and Bucs have reached a deal Its reported a 5 year deal and they feverishly working to sign Carl Nicks has he is in Tampa right now and they don't plan on him leaving without a deal. One thing that could possibly lure the big names this season is the No state Tax which is crucial when you have a multi-million dollar contract.

yes... David Carr lol I dunno about him but I guess he could let Freeman know how it was being a first round draft going into an expansion team (Texans) with no O line and getting obilterated every game :).

Carr would've been great hadn't it been for a shitty O-Line
the Wright signing is terribly iffy, but it's better than who we have (LMAOEwis, Mack and Biggers)
VJax was a great signing, need that down field theat

I agree we need Tulloch or even so I wouldn't mind Dan Connor or David hawthorne as they weren't half bad either. Lofton I'm not sold on just because of the rumors of what type of money he wants.
