i was with you for a second and then i read the bolded section and stopped reading.
unless you mis-wrote, there isn't any movement "in the air after my second pull" since I'm still driving through the ground to create bar speed during the second pull.
also, if you actually knew anything about weightlifting you'd know you HAVE to move you're feet. i set my feet where they are so i can make sure the pull is long, then move them out to catch in a more stable position.
i'd have to agree though, during the second miss i definitely exaggerated my bottom position because i wasn't able to finish my pull and had to spread out further to try and adjust under the bar.

wait you think a valgus knee is a stable position? cute. your initial position, first and second pull are ok and then as soon as you jump your feet rotate outwards and you move forward into the shittiest bottom squat position ever. your feet should move out a small amount laterally in the jump if you need the extra room in your hips, but the feet should not rotate much at all. you actually catch like that every single time but it doesnt force you far enough out of position until your last 3 videos, presumably at higher weights

Being an expert coach, and being able to lift are totally different things.....
Also, if you look at other lifters, imo my technique is sub par, if you look at Norik Vardanian, Alex Lee, the Barnes brothers, technique is not my specialty, for sure something I am pursuing at getting better, but I think some of us consider ourselves "Experts" a little too easily.

Yeah I know. I was just basing this when comparing you with the rest of the forum ;)

It's not very often great lifters become good coaches since they respond to anything they do and don't have to think so much around it.

I'm nowhere near an expert, i just don't see myself actually jumping forward, if anything I'm jumping laterally (which is a horrible trait in itself with a barbell in my hands lol).
I do appreciate the feedback though!

Yes of course, I do ankle mobility every leg day, I can now squat narrow with feet pointing straight ahead (my right ankle is actually a lot less mobile than my left one

Thanks m9.. Now I know it's not a waste of time starting these..

I finally figured out my #1 mobility issue, and it is my ankles... Although it sucks, I'm fucking siked that I know what I need to work on

I just do Theban resistance band stretched from Omar isufs video ankle dorsiflexion or whatever, and I do it double for my right ankle and only once for my left.

It's made a huge difference in my squats, I thought my hips were misaligned but it was just ankle mobility impeding me, my hips don't drift right as far as they used to
