I've wanted to but there's no where to do rack pulls in this gym unless I set up something makeshift.

Boxa mentioned getting lower and using more hip drive so Im going to try and see if that helps the hitching next week.

Lmao when I put it down I saw him shaking his head and looking around.

Ty m9, I know you will :-) then we will both catch up to tear and john.

You bench more jumbo so likewise.

Jumbo...Lmfao. Fucking iPod correction.

*jimbo

Oh and fuck a belt.

Gonna attempt 455 tonight, how should I work up to it? :O

I did 135, 225, 315, 375, 405, 425, 450, 465

Whatever feels comfortable I guess. Dave Tate has an article on how to properly work up to a max out that is a good read.

GZ gearz!
what's the most you've done for reps before this? also was it touch-n-go or resetting?
Just curious because I didn't think you could pull that much honestly :P

Well if you're trying to get a 1 rep max, I wouldn't do that many reps. Get loose before, then just do 1-3 reps of each warm up set just to get the weight in your hands. Thats what I do, however everybody has their own way to warm up and sometimes something else may work better for you.

Strong lift though gearz, just get those hips a little lower at the start. Also saw a little bend in the arm when you pull it off the ground, let those arms hang like chains attached the bar, get tension in them so that they are straight before you start the pull and then push your feet through the ground.

Yeah, I think I did a bit too much leading into it :\
405 felt WAY heavier than usual so I didn't manage to get 455 up :(

Appreciate the tip.

First time recording or seeing my form on video, I was just happy my back wasn't rounded lol.
