Unless something fucked up happens looks like we'll get the Preds in round 1.

Preds have been one of the better teams in the league in the 2nd half of the season and have a goalie that can steal games/series but should still be a good matchup compared to like LA or Vegas.

Can't wait for playoff hockey, been almost a decade if you exclude the bubble.

I am happy with the Preds too.

Kings/Knights first round is a bad matchup for the Canucks imo as well.

Furthermore, those teams will beat up on their opponents so whoever makes it through to the 2nd round will likely come in limping a bit.

Hopefully the Canucks show up ready to go and we get Demko into these last two games so he is not headed to the playoffs cold.

Preds seem like the best matchup as well, but they do have josi and saros. With 50g Forsberg and ror playoff beast. Hopefully the Canucks can still outplay them like they did during the season, but playoffs are a whole different beast.

Lindholm in the lineup is huge, as he will most likely matchup and shut down other top lines, rather than Miller doing that. I think the Canucks will depend on Peteys line mostly. If we can get all 3 lines going, the team can excel through their depth.

Vegas does have a scary team, especially when stone et all miraculously become healthy around this time, but for some reason their goalies seem like they'll throw the series lol.

After tonight still very up in the air as to what the matchups are.

Vegas's final two games are against the Hawks and Ducks which you would assume to be wins.

Kings last game is against the Hawks as well.

Then you also have the scenario where we choke the division lead lol.

91% chance to play Nashville, which means 9% will be the outcome.



0 points in last two games - Nashville unless Edmonton goes 2-0, then it's Pacific Division seed #3 (LAK or VGK)

1-3 points in last two games - Nashville

4 points in last two games - Nashville unless Dallas goes 0-1, then it's Wild Card seed #2 (LAK or VGK)

If Vegas wins 2-0, they get #3 spot. Plays EDM if canucks choke 0-2 and EDM go 2-0.
