Training camp will be extremely competitive and I think it will result in an improved team to start the season.

I don't think the playoffs will happen next year, but what will happen is lots of player development.

I see the playoffs being a realistic goal 2 years from now, and in year 3-4 I would expect to win some playoff rounds with cautious optimism.

Glad we only dropped 1 instead of the usual 3 spots. Story of lolnuck fans.
At least we can still get 1 of boqvist, Bouchard, Hughes, Dobson or even Tkachuk/ wahlstrom. Woulda qq'd if we got 9th whewwwww

As crazy as it may sound, i actually want lolnucks to pick Wahlstrom over the 4 promising defensemen.
lolnucks may have shitty ass defense, but they also have shitty scoring depth. Was clear as soon as boeser went down, lolnux had problems scoring, and the fact that boeser still tied 1st in team pts says it all.
I feel like Wahlstrom will turn out to be a solid top 6, and having another nice scoring threat with shot and accuracy like boeser would be nice. The thought of him and boeser / EP
Seems like the reward of that is higher than a potential #2D-bust defense. Just how i wanted lolnux to pick tkachuk over gambling over juolevi/sergachev/chychrun etc. in the past draft
