America is a group of individuals who are willing to put innocent lives at risk to take out terrorists. Assange is the moral equivalent of America, unfortunately.

Plus, Assange getting buttraped in prison would do no harm to the cause of Wikileaks.

I don't see how any liberal or libertarian would be opposed to at least arresting Assange for being crazy.

Being willing to accept that war unfortunately will lead to innocents dying is not the same as intentionally targeting innocents in order to save your ass, sorry. :(

Intentions and potential, of course. It's possible that if you do everything right, you won't kill any civilians, in the case of war. If Assange does everything right, innocent people die, guaranteed.
