so your saying, he WASNT at 100% only based on the fact he was a pro wrestler and "has a high pain tolerence"

WHat evidence do we have to suggest this was affecting him historically?

i have no evidence. im simply stating whats possible, i dont necesarily think this is true/ is going to happen. i was more so just stating some scenarios that i thought were interesting.

Someones record really has NOTHING to do with how good they are.
Look at boxing for instance. Boxers get their records jacked up by fighting no bodys, just to look pretty.

Why can't you let someone else say this? I already know you're not an idiot -_-

This gave me quite the chuckle.

See this leaves me to believe you're just riding the lesnar bus.
I'm not trying to discredit him as a fighter in anyway, but there is TONS of reasons to not like the guy.

And any 'true mma fan' would look at him and say hmm... a guy with very little skill or experience gets a title shot because of his name.
And due to his size speed strength and just level of athletism, he obtained the ufc hw belt.
What a joke.

On a side note:
After posting this I realized I'm slowly starting to make posts like Merle -_-

i would like to know why you say lesnar has close to no skill, he has calegic wrestling records of 106-5 and better

that would make it seem like he has atleast some clue of what hes doing on the ground, wouldnt you say so?

why wouldn't he get max credit available to him?

The guy has proved INSTANTLY he's a threat in MMA. His FIRST (legit ) fight in mma and ufc was against FRANK MIR. He beat the shit out of frank and we all know he got screwed.

He's a NCAA wrestling CHAMPION.

He obtained the ufc HW championship in his 3rd fight in the ufc.

he has never had 1 easy fight in the ufc although he made it look easy.

This man is an alpha male who is built like a fucking tank.

Brock lesnar is a killing machine. There has never been anybody like him in mma and he deserves all respect as a complete mixed martial artist. The guy has top wrestling and is training in every aspect of mma with a pro mma team. This guy deserves nothing but respect for being a complete wrecking machine in the fight world.

this man would lay a beating on fedor. His giant fists would break the bones in fedors retard like shaped skull and pummel him into a coma forcing him to retire from mma because of the massive beating that was issued by the former WWE HW CHAMPION.

Regardless of all the bullshit in this thread. Lesnar is A) going to have some ring rust .. and B) going to have serious muscle atrophy from this illness. Hasn't he been bed-ridden for a few of these months?

not even close to bed-ridden

he is out and about, he walks outside

he is just taking it "easy" until he finds out if the minor surgery was successful or if he has to have major surgery.

and if he does end up having to have major surgery we will soon after see a fight between 2 contenders( probably frank mir vs shane carwin) to determine an interim champion.

mir > fedor by pure skill

both bjj
and stand up

so if lesnar > mir in lesnar/mir III

then lesnar will easily defeat fedor

all lesnar has to do is fix a few small holes in his ground game and then all the rest is stand up practice.

if lesnar knew BJJ + some dirty standup he would hold t he belt until retirement.

1. Assumption that fighter 1 > fighter 2
2. Assumption that fighter 1 will get beat by fighter 3
3. Conclusion: fighter 3 > fighter 2

that's lolgic, mate

LOL you mean collegiate wrestling... I'm no spelling nazi or anything, but that wasn't even close bro :p

Anyways, I'm not sure if you guys remember back when Sokoudjou burst onto the MMA scene in Pride back in 07. He KO'd Lil Nog and Aronas in back to back fights, two guys who were top 10 at the time. EVERYONE jumped on his dick thinking hes the greatest ever.... until he got schooled by Machida.

Same with Alexander Houston, 2 devastating KO victories and everyone jumped on the Assassin Bandwagon. A couple of losses later and everyone jumped off just as quick.

I've seen this happen so many times in MMA, again and again.

Brock Lesnar has had 3 straight victories in the UFC, looking pretty good in most of them. But lets not be too hasty here, he's still relatively new to the MMA scene. I say give it some time before you start thinking he's the greatest HW ever.
