New ones, I begin to like this extender. :D
But it takes much time to do these shots because every mm is counting!

Whoa... Those shots are F#@%ed up. Take some pictures of other things though, like the stamen of a flower or a person's iris.

Yeah, I will try. But it is quite hard to do! I have two halogen lamps faceing directly towards the subject (5 - 10 cm away) and a 1 secound shutterspeed. So I think the Iris shot is quite hard. :(
But tomorrow I will try with other things than insects.

and thanks. :)

Geez, that thing needs a lot of light..

I'm hoping to do something similar to this soon, when I go back on vacation there is going to be a huge yard sale with like 50 different people and half a mile of the road covered by their stuff and I'm hoping to find some cheap lenses.

Thank you. Actually I use a program to combine 5 - 15 photos, to make it more sharp all over the photo. I only have like 0,1mm of sharp-focus on each photo.

Yup it is dead. Not by me though, I found it in the garden. I have two halogen lamps faceing directly towards the subject (5 - 10 cm away) and a 1 secound shutterspeed, so it would be quite hard to take shots of a living insect. :P

Are you closing down tou aperture though?
I know it would slow down your shutter speed even more but it would help with the DOf (and yes, I know the lens is not connected to the body, but here is how to do it: you just attach the lens, select the aperture, dof preview button and unscrew the lens. The aperture will remain closed, you will have a sharper image too.)
I thought the fly was dead cause it's missing so many scales on the eyes.
