Hi. I am reading about many threads where people have been banned for buying gold. If I use FG to buy gold in Diablo 4, what would be the safest way to do it? I have read that I should do the following:

1) In the trade window, throw a random rare in. In private messages on the d2jsp website, let the person giving you gold in d2jsp know that you are throwing a random rare in the trade window when the trade happens in game.

2) Don't buy a large amount of gold. Sounds like perhaps buying no more than 50 million gold or 100 million gold would be safe?

3) Don't talk about d2jsp at all in the game during the trade

What is everyone's experience with being banned? Any other tips to avoid being banned? And do you know stories of people being banned because they bought or sold an excessive amount of gold?

Never been banned I literally type jsp in-game and w.e I want an nothing ever happens, people like conspiracy and to feel important, idk why ppl think they matter

so this is why i see all those "NEVER MENTION JSP IN-GAME" when it comes to d4

I think they track the amount you are trading for, how new your account is, the history of your account, and the history of the person trading to you as well. I believe if you're trading for like 10K or 20K gold, they don't care. But if you are trading for billions of gold, and you have a history of trading for billions of gold often, that's a red flag. Similarly, if the counter party that is trading with you has a history of trading for billions of gold, that's a red flag on them. If you are a brand new account and you suddenly receive billions of gold, that could be a red flag too. And of course, if you mention JSP in game, that is a definitely red flag, you just gave yourself away.

I don't think it's that hard for Blizzard to have code that automatically detects mentioning of "JSP" in game, along with a huge gold trade (ie. in the billions), and then automatically flags your account for manual review. I'm just curious what are the limits where people start getting banned (I read a comment here in d2jsp where someone claimed their friend was banned for a little as a 30 million gold trade, I wish I could find that comment again).

People get banned for using third party programs, blizzard doesn’t give half a shit about people buying gold on jsp
