Have you never been to Mardi Gras? talk about celebrating being drunk..That's what it's all about. and how many Kegger parties are there in colleges? more than gay pride parades. Drunks embrace drinking they don't want to turn away from drinking. Gamblers love gambling they don't want to turn away either.
Sin is sin everyone sins. Theworse thing you can do is to try and judge people because of it. That you are warned about many more times than homesexuality.
Uhm... we're talking about Christians, not the general population.
Drunks or gamblers, if they are Christian, either accept that their behavior is sinful, or are in denial of their problems.
Churches accepting gay couples is equivalent to churches seeing a married man come to church with his mistress every Sunday, and the pastor not saying anything.
The worst thing a church can do is pretend a sinful relationship is not just that, a sinful relationship. Sorry if that hurts your feelers. If you don't want to hear about your sinful behavior, don't go to church. Jesus said "go and sin no more", not "continue sinning because you are saved".
