It's not to fill pews, don't you see that they have spiritual needs just the same as you do Why do you think they give a fuck about getting married in a church? sure there may be some radicals that just want to because they can. Most Bay Christians want to get married and do it in a church because they are Christian.

You are correct, we all fall short of the glory of God, we are all sinners, but like I said, when Jesus saved the adulterer from stoning, He said to her "go and sin no more". The church should be a light to people struggling with their sexuality, but the person who stays in a gay relationship either doesn't want to stop sinning or doesn't think their behavior is a sin.
Like the comparison I made earlier, if a man who is married brings his mistress to church every Sunday, expect someone to say something. If a polygamist brings his 5 wives to a legit Christian church every Sunday, expect someone to say something. Church isn't political correctness fairy land... it's the house of God.
(if you go to my Catholic church and wear shorts/sandals... expect my priest to say something
