Got some work done on groups and catacombs, as well as generated mazes.



No random elements (trapdoors, wells, spinners, etc) being created yet, but pretty happy to get this working. Still need to port the code that sends it to the client.

I would love to see a post from Paul highlighting his vision of Ladder Slasher from here out. Over the years, it's been his baby, he seldom seeked out insight or suggestions. Someone in here said "I hope this brings players back", what will bring players back exactly? A rewritten back end? No. The ideas that are created and evolved from discussion and community here on this forum will generate motivation and joy for players to come back.

I came back hard and brought a lot of the HC community back into action for an entire month when Paul made a few posts interacting with the community about changing his game for the better. We went pretty hard for a solid month or so, did 28 MQ's. And everything went quiet. My belief slipped away and my motivation died. The current version of the game just isn't as fun as it could be. And we need to work together to achieve that.

I do agree of course that the re-write of code from 2004 will help greatly in creating feature content. I hope great times are upon us in the months to come. If there is positive change, I'll definitely be back, hard as ever. I love this game yo
