What should I do? Get to high enough level to do norm Mephisto until I get decent enough drops? Put attributes into Health and Mana so I can teleport anywhere fairly well without dying and worrying about mana, and just reset it with Den of Evil quest once I get better gear? What is your go-to when staring out brand new like me?

Push until you're in hell chaos by joining existing quest games for act 2, and teleing the rest of the game

or take the 10 fg that i'm about to send you and buy a norm rush, then norm baal to lvl 40. sell your services as bumper for a grush, then lvl in hell chaos.

It's pretty easy.

Make a fire sorc.

Max firebolt then immediately get fireball at level 12. Make a leaf / stealth / lore / etc.. low level rune words and get yourself to hell asap. Then chaos to 60.

If you get stuck in norm, do trist from like 1-14, get to lvl 20, then tomb to 24, then ancients, and rest is pretty easy. Or you can cow / baal, etc... there's no one way, but getting to hell chaos is quickest.

I was able to solo get to lvl 80 ladder pretty easily, though I was a lot slower than the speed runners but I am casual, not really going for lvl 99 or anything.

Then you switch to bliz sorc or orb / mete / FB and farm nightmare bosses, or hell andy / meph / ancient tunnels / lower kurast chest.

You want a act 2 merc with insight for mana. I would put most of your stats in energy until mana isn't an issue, and carry pots, then max vita and obviously enough str / dex for gear.

A lot of people will help you on forums / in game too because the community is pretty mature since most of us played this way back in the day and kids are all playing fortnite / new lame sht.

You can farm Normal andy for good rares. Getting uniques takes dedication and/or luck.

Yes, Sorceress with Teleport is much faster than most else. I suggest Orb/Fireball for lvl 30+, and Charged Bolt for lower levels.

Alright so put more on energy for now so I can teleport more reasonably. I just hate finding their lairs. Takes at least 2-3 minutes. is that normal? And sorry but what is a bumper?

a bumper is a lvl 40 or over char, they're used in rushes to bump lvl 1 characters from normal to hell. usually a rusher will pay you a bit of fg to be the bumper.

if u wanna play the game and dont want to get rushed tho no problem, use that fg to buy a nice starter item like a cheap spirit runeword sword

I started hc brand new like a month ago I think I only spent fg in rushes and levelling. I just used self found stuff and ran nm instead of hell. I found several vipers, bases, nagels, raven, only etc. It's easy. Go cold sorce.

Or just go javazon and run hell cows to get bases plus shenk eld pindle
