I would definately use HL over Cats. That +1 gives more than Cats; life, trap dmg, Bos - frw and ias

E: I think Meph its easier to get without tele, those cata2+3 are hard to get it right. Stay with Meph imo

Depends on your run speed. If you can get a good roll on Catacombs map it would be a good start, but without tele I generally find her a pain in the ass to run quickly, especially if/when you get boss packs spawn in front of the doors.

Since Deadly Strike doesn’t apply to kicks, I’d be trading

+1 all skills
1-30 lightning damage
35% lightning resistance

Vs.

30 FRW
100 defense
25 dexterity

Unless I end up using an Arachnids Meah or a Bul Kathos ring, the +1 wont help me reach lvl 24 Dragon Talon for 5 kicks anyway. The dexterity also translates into 75 BOable life. I already have a lot of Light res from Stormshield as well.

Since I’m not planning on getting enigma for the foreseeable future, FRW directly translates into faster runs.

Another tiny factor that plays in, is that I’d like to remake my Fortitude in a Kraken Shell so I can get those beautiful red legplates. According to Arreat Summit Field Plates etc. are classified as medium armor, and the FRW helps mitigate that 5% decreased run speed.

Either way, either would be an upgrade and I’ll test both extensively. I’m leaning towards Cats Eye so far, but I’ll keep your input in mind :)

I’ll roll a Pit Map later today and try to get that Spirit, and then it’s time to test Andy for a few runs :banana:

14 full clear runs of LK later, I had found neither a Topaz, nor a Flawed Diamond to up 2 x Pul -> Um, and 2 x Um -> Mal. I decided to hit A2 normal, usually flawed gems are plentiful there.

Almost done with the boring part of the update :thumbsup:

Current CTA is 6/4/3. I know the odds for an upgrade are kind of slim, but I really want to make CTA in a Crystal Sword for safety purposes

Most of my dangerous moments occur when I accidentally fail swapping between CTA and mainhand because of a block animation or something. Wielding a giant glowstick should make things a bunch clearer and help me avoid embarrassing death :thumbsup:
