Do you need to play the others to play this? If so is there a recommended order in which to play?

1, 2, 3 lol, but na, it doesn't matter. I didn't play 3 and I feel like I might be missing something, but not much and it doesn't detract anything from the game. Game is just fucking

if u like the series i think u should do the 3 (the hd remaster should be cheap now), sure ur not missing much storywise but the 3 is really fun to do and the bosses are epic, its worth doing it imo

imo 1,2,3, ghost of sparta n chains of olympus are all worth playing (ascension was not good that one can be skipped)

I just never had a playstation until the Ps4 (Since the original PS ofc). I'll pick it up after I finish 4 for some cheap fun. Was it as short as 1-2? Like 6-8 hours, super easy/repetitive, but fun and pretty intense?
