Israel just wants to keep the war going and is against assad but is more interested in letting the sunnis and shiites kill each other than taking sides
also turkey is kind of at a weird truce with assad where they just want to exterminate the kurds and are tacitly arming the rebels and letting them cross the border, but not engaging assad directly and instead playing nice with Russia despite being on supposedly opposite sides of the conflict. And the kurds meanwhile are against everyone
