Its pretty bad

Why? I’m tired of a thread of everyone stating it’s “bad” without actual reasons.

Going to go see it after my tests on Tuesday. I've avoided any and all relevant information, the only thing I know regarding it is Lando's sexuality and I personally don't believe that something like that can ruin a movie alone. I was hoping it'd be good because I actually think Glover is a phenomenal actor, and I love Woody Harelson. The guy playing Solo looked awful though, and I still can not for the life of me understand why the fuck they keep letting Emilia Clarke be in anything outside of GoT. She's not even good in fucking GoT, and she's playing one of the most bad ass fictional characters of all time and she's okayish at best.

Will post back Tuesday or Wednesday with my review though. My expectations are abysmally low ofc, but I'm just hoping it's as good or better than TLJ, which was just boring and pointless.

well good news is that lando being in the movie made it better for me
bad news is that the movie is still bad. It was boring, bland, dull, lazy, predictable, then again most movies nowadays follow this recipe. low effort, cash grab regardless, gotta milk em franchise.
this is with my expectations being lowest to the floor possible, seeing how my intention was for the damn 3d glasses to make my custom polarized lens for my dash cam......

i hope u enjoy it tho and differ from my opinion. though u seem to know a lot more about starwars and follow it in more detail due to the bolded part, but when a casual like me feels it was boring/predictable, idk if it'll meet ur expectations

Eh, overall an eh movie. The actors are fine, the cgi was fine, everything was fine. Boring and uninspired. I don't really blame the writers though, it was the studios decision to make such a stupidly locked down movie.

Like you literally can't do anything in the star wars universe because there is so much random canon bullshit you have to stick to. They seriously need to make some movies set in the old republic or something.

All these people crying about wanting an obi solo film are all idiots.

Actor for Han is horrible, the story is pretty boring and simple, so many damn love stories again including man and robot. There’s really nothing going on. There’s so much more that could have been, to really improve the movie.

They finally reveal the infamous Kessel Run, it’s dumb as fuck.

I can barely remember it, that’s how lack luster the entire thing was.
