It’s all personal choices and everybody has the right to do what they want. If you control it you’re communist
From the moment your choice directly affects somebody else, it's no longer a "personal" choice and is definitely subject to regulation.
As a parent, you have a legal obligation to raise your children in a somewhat decent manner. Intentionally neglecting to do that is illegal and should be illegal.
