I'm all up for that, in the mean time the EU is incorporating intellectual property rights on crops due to US developments. We've always had a market that shared crops cross breeding, gaining newly developed characteristics and high diversity. As we speak they are being monopolized, diversity reduced, evolution only to happen in large corporations planting only one type of the "best" crops everywhere, vulnerable to the same cause of famine in the near future. This is a free market capitalistic route we are following to adjust to the same US regulation, but imo it would be nice to reconsider property rights on intellectual property, especially on crops.
