Utmost respect though. Thanks for serving etc. It was a slow day on PaRD. Hoped to speed it up but even blatantly calling out the US Armed Forces didn't manage it today.

This parade that Trump wants, is just about patriotism. Any other assumption is ludicrous.
If Trump wanted to intimidate Americans, he would roll tanks down the main streets of all the towns (say over 20,000 pop.) in the US.

Some people on here, really crack me up. The budding socialists or communists for example. Do you honestly think you're the first? Do you think ranting on PaRD is gonna change anything.

The world is pretty much coming unglued at this time. So Trump wants to remind Americans that we can be bad ass if we need to be. Hence the parade. When the US Army marches, we look good and march good. That's what this is about.
We LOOK capable. Well, we ARE capable, but at times it becomes necessary to remind folks.

Ya can't trust what the news says anymore, so it's time for a parade.
Most people in this country have never even seen a decent US military parade in their lifetimes. It kind of is...inspiring.
