The new noise is so quiet and only occurs at certain speeds, with everything off and everything taken out of the car does it sound at all. Small quiet noises are not covered under warranty, I would need to prove there is something damage that’s causing the noise, Something that was not damaged by me doing something I’m not supposed to.
Clearly you know you can’t walk into a dealership and say “my car is making a noise and I’m under warranty... fix it”... that’s not how it works... the inspection is free without a warranty... bur most of the time small quiet noises are never diagnosed... not without taking the whole thing apart... especially if the mechanic can’t hear it as he or she has never driven the car before the noise....
I can totally see u as that guy that thinks because he has a warranty, he has a mechanic that fixes stuff for free... just point and bark... lol
So you have a noise that started after they worked on your new car and you are going to go through the trouble of trying to diagnose it yourself because you are too chicken shit to stand up to the service writer? If it's that quiet of a noise and you don't want to bother the busy men at the dealership, turn the fucking radio up and stop bitching.
What do you want? Am I supposed to diagnose this mystery squeak via the internet or do you just want sympathy? You have a warranty and the car is almost brand new... go make them fix it.
I don't bark at anyone. I have 1 vehicle with a warranty and I don't bother going to the dealer unless there is something legitimately wrong that needs attention. All of my other cars I do myself.
