I saw an interesting video on that.
If a graphics card renders at 60fps, the intervals of frames aren’t necessarily 1/60 each. 30 of those frames might be rendered in 35% or the time, and 30 might be rendered in 70% of the time.
What you can end up with is 2 frames being sent from the graphics card being caught in 1 screen refresh, effectively halving your actual frames.
I can understand the appeal of 120+hz for games... but I’m not playing games. And even when I do, I don’t care.
