buoyancy is not a force - its just another case of an object's total density being less dense than the medium it exists in. So Its not the object itself - its the object compared to the medium it exist in. Thats why ships sink when you shoot a torpedo in them - dahh

More tersely: Buoyancy = weight of displaced fluid.

Nowhere does it mention your grabbity relegion. If it was an actual force - it would always be there, not appear magically to solve your bias.

You mentioned it yourself by using the term "weight", which is just the force acting on the object, due to gravity.
