I just don't see how you can have the viewpoint that the longer sentences and the arrests and convictions could be justified when drug use and trafficking warrants such a high disparity. Even if it's not influenced by racism , it's definitely influenced by incompetenence and this has led to a certain racial group to experience a hardship that would lock up children's fathers in prison for a non violent crime ruining their lives and making the child more likely to stay in poverty and more likely to live a life of crime since living in a single parent household with no father figure has extreme consequences.
