Not really no. Donald Trump won because so many people flipped from voting for Obama in 2008 and 2012 to voting Trump in 2016. A very large shift across party lines with a historic amount of split ticket voters.

Unless you have special interest groups, financing, and politicians supporting you, protesting is bullshit. It isn't a very effective way to get things done.
