Imagine if we had Hillary in office, american troops would probably be dying in Syria right now and the war would be raging on.

Fun fact:

That isn't facts, only opinion. Only thing on record is she would have (also) bombed Asaad's airfield after he used chemical weapons.

yeah how terrible of trump to not fund radical islamists. Thats like totally going to ruin everything. merica should totally be involved in all these wars around the globe, further destabilizing the region at great cost to Americans with negative consequences.
Its not like wars and radical islamists kill people or anything.

trump's trained monkeys would misrepresent this as just not funding radical islamists any longer, which ofc is only the "positive" spin everyone can agree to.
putin will be ecstatic, syrian civilians and assad's opposition will be murdered indiscriminately, and europe will have to deal with a neverending flow of refugees, while america refuses to accept any despite destabilising the whole region...

Typical. When you have no sound argument and want to continue being a vile child just repeat the inane trump shill accusations and kneejerk oppose anything he does.

Yeah recognizing that they are stopping the funding of radical Islamists through this program is just "spin" and is not really positive or accurate.

putin will be ecstatic,

OH NO! we cant have that!
Are you suggesting Americans should cater their foreign policy around not pleasing putin?
Its totally good to take from Americans to fund radical islamic terrorists as long as putin wont like it?

syrian civilians and assad's opposition will be murdered indiscriminately,

That warzone has been a mess for awhile now, with tons of people being killed.
The US funding was not stopping this from happening. Rather, it was perpetuating a war and funding terrible people.

You say the latter as if its an inherently terrible thing that ISIS and other radical islamists will be at disadvantage.

Rather than widespread indiscriminate killing being the new result going forward, they are discussing and enacting ceasefires and focusing on stopping the barbarous ISIS.

You want them to continue to help destabilize the region by funding radical islamists. You cant have it both ways.

typical really, the ridiculous spins and LIES of trump cultists claiming not opposing assad / putin in syria, caring about civilian lives and democratic opposition, somehow equals wanting radical islamists to be funded... preposterous... when you're so brainwashed that you completely ignore everything that doesn't fit your pro trump narrative, you maybe should not pretend to be "discussing" political issues...

You are literally opposing the US stopping their policy of funding radical islamists.
thats not spin or secret russian hacking or "LIES". Thats literally the subject we are talking about.

You tried a hamfisted emotional spin trying to turn this into caring about civilians while you overlook what these radical islamists and perpetual wars do to civilians.

Continuing the moronic and untrue 'you are a trump this and that' when I say things you dont like is just demonstrating your intellectual inferiority, immaturity and overall unpreparedness for political debates with me.
Try posting an actual argument when you think i am wrong.

when the propaganda is so strong that all "syrian rebels" are "radical islamists"... again, not arming extremist scum is something we can all get behind, but as usual, trump cultists fail to make any kind of distinction and just stick to their simplistic narratives...

also, claiming that i "want" america to "fund radical islamists" is just a blatant LIE. TSS; TBS

The precedence has already been set in that funding groups in the Middle East does not end well for us. Time and time again they are easily infiltrated by extremists and weapons end up in enemy hands.

There is no scenario in which many innocent people won't die. Avoiding the Middle East entirely, with the exception of trade and refugee support, is the best foreign policy.
