500w is plenty for that build, but it's not about the wattage. It's about quality. Though its better if you buy 650+ quality watt so you don't have to buy another psu if you're planning on upgrading parts like stronger gpu etc. In the future.

pcpartspicker compatibility check is pretty good and it says it's fine so
i also recommend seasonic
evga is good too if you can't choose a relatively less known brand for some reason
just avoid corsair

Avoid Corsair based on what? The white label CXM and new TXM are amazing value. The RMx series is also very good.

Just because there's other psu manufacturers that don't sprinkle lower tier/no-name caps from capxon/enesol on most of their products.
And i don't consider it a coincidence that my buddy has been through 2 corsair psu's in just 4 years (most recently a cx750m that shat itself and kept clicking/not powering on, after intermittent voltage drops on the 3.3v rail)

CX is trash tho so that's a given.

AX/RMx are great. Rest is meh, better options out there.

CX is old. CXM is new. They're not the same.
