why would I ruin it?

Idk, you were the only one in the thread at the time lol

@op, don't get a prebuilt :)
Once you have a final budget and are 3 days away from purchasing , just repost. Tech is ever changing :)

Here. If you can get the SAME parts cheaper at say Best Buy or Microcenter...do so...

No, for the OS. New motherboard requires new install of w/e OS.

You can get a License for Windows at Kinguin for about $28 , then just download Windows fro free from Microsoft.m You only pay for the cd key...not for Windows itself.

So buy a cdkey from Kinguin, then download Windows from Microsoft? Instead of paying the $100 from a place like newegg, best buy, etc?

I don't have a microcenter nearby, but my brother knows where they are at and he loves that store. Best buy isn't probably close either since I moved out into the middle of Kansas :RIP:

YOU ruin it.
Quit recommending non-overclockable boards and CPUs though. That's just a money trap.

/e Maybe not today, but down the road very soon. It's like trapping someone in the early 2000's

Yeah, there is also a cheaper site called twed or some shyt, but they don't have the cd keys in stock all the time. But if they do...it's like 6-8 bux.

A money trap is going with the 2k builds right off the bat ignoring people's needs.

Picked a non-oc board to pair with non-oc Intel chips.
Why is this a problem? That socket is going EOL anyway.

Pretty sure the b350 boards I linked for ryzen oc.
And so does the z board for Intel

My build is less than 1k. :/

I dun think OP needs HDD at all. But I wanted to list one...just in case.

OP def does NOT need a 120GB SSD, that's just silly. 250GB or better.

Why are you pairing 2400 mhz ram with ryzen....
Get a non-flashy 3000/3200 mhz kit for like $5 less

If he wants that ram but won't pay the premium for faster response, he should be going jntel.

You don't. You DL it on a working computer and use Microsofts tool to burn it to a DVD or make a bootable USB stick with the ISO you download.
