I don't understand what the point of this thread is if you aren't going to give details.

There's not much to discuss since there's no specifics and your framing of "they lied" has an obvious negative implication.

i don't trust this sub to go into why exactly i ended up in court but it was mostly an accidental case against me, the state had very little to go off of and my defense had no holes

little to go off of is very different than lying and trying to abuse an innocent person like you alleged

ty, i had never been in this situation before and it felt really good to win, losing would have caused me financial damage that i would have had a ridiculously hard time repairing


my main point of this thread was i was totally innocent and played my case and the state took my words and turned them against me in lies

i had no prior offenses in my entire life and the judge dismissed the case but it easily could have gone the other way

Don't worry, the only person ever from this sub who would ever do something with that information, like e-mail your boss, doesn't come around anymore (thankfully).

I have my doubts about this thread but you could talk to a lawyer if you feel there was maliciousness or abuse in your case and look into suing for court costs and your time and even some pain and suffering if applicable

power abuses power all the time but keep in mind you won so unless you have solid evidence of some sort of fishy business I'm not sure what you want to happen

where did i indicate i wanted something to happen? i got myself into the situation by accident and the state jumped on my ass

i was interviewed by a state rep who was incredibly nice to me, we discussed the events that had taken place, and in the hearing he blatantly lied about what i had told him

i was innocent and i won because it was clear that i had gotten myself into the situation by accident and the judge knew it and dismissed the case

but even he said something interesting after we ended the hearing, "we are here to protect the tax payers, and you are one of them" his exact words
