i'm ashamed to say i've "argued" NASA topics with that guy for what has to amount to days of my life.
his inability to even carry on a conversation once he realizes he's wrong is astounding though. he literally brainwashes himself and changes any and all stances in order to keep his biases.
but, its way worse than that thread suggests. there is no conspiracy theory he doesn't believe in. it's all based in a distrust of authority that has led him to believe that a shadow organization is controlling the world and capable of literally anything. that, and his need to know something that the "sheeple" that make fun of him don't know.
he spent a whole week once arguing that a slinky isn't a spring, all because he posted a slo-mo video of someone dropping a slinky. he thought that because the bottom doesn't drop until the top reaches it that this was proof that gravity is a myth. when we pointed out that its actually the internal tension inherent to all springs that causes this effect he then posted a bunch of definitions for springs in an attempt to wiggle out. THEN, and this is where it gets good, it was proven that HIS definitions actually prove a slinky IS a spring. at which point, and no i'm not joking, he claimed that because the definition provided "mechanical" as the context for a spring (example below because this is confusing) that a slinky cant be a spring because it doesnt have a mechanical purpose in any type of machine, and is just a child's toy. he went on to repeatedly state that since a slinky cant replace a garage door spring and lift the door that it's not a spring. he's fucking cookoo.
Quote
Spring:
Mechanical:
An item in a machine that utilizes tension to exact force.
My garage door spring needs to be replaced, it can hardly lift the door.
Action:
To rise quickly.
When I'm done with Riox's mother I spring out of there before anyone recognizes my car outside.
