exactly, hence why i do not need an impressive GPU, especially when im on a big budget.
i know 300 fps is useless, but i was insinuating it can handle what i need it to and then some.

i legit only play one game, ever.. which is league.
i plan on streaming + playing and thats essentially it.

i used 2-3 year old hardware and accomplished this.

and when you're not computer savvy and one of your friends who is, suggests it.. usually you lead towards it.
he can play at 4k on the card.

i dont need to.

ALSO.

i was going to get the rx480 but the only store in my area that has stock only had ones at 300$ +

idk if you're going to come in here and tell someone who essentially has no idea what hes doing.

"i wouldnt do that, i wouldnt do this" without explaining why.. it just makes you look like a dick.
im asking for help, not pretending i know anything

if you are on a VERY tight budget always spend the majority on a good cpu.

Why? If you are experiencing lags due to the gpu falling behind there are countless things you can do to alleviate the issue from lowering settings to up scaling from a lower resolution. The point is there's almost no limit on the amount of graphical fidelity you can sacrifice to improve the smoothness for an overall better experience. However, if your CPU is the culprit of the bottleneck and you're experiencing stutters and lags as a result, there is essentially nothing you can do. Fiddle with .ini's or go down from 1080p to 640x480 it will have little to no affect, you simply will not be able to play the game under any circumstances

That's my 2 cents. If eye candy is as or more important to you than playability I'd just save up some more dosh so you can have the best of both worlds.

It's not really directed at tears, his budget is decent enough to not have to do what i stated but it's just general advice
Unless he wants to stick a 6850k in with a 750 ti

Combed through some synthetic benchmarks, looks like it's i5-6500 single thread performance with i7-6800k multi thread performance for around $200

Ya that's pretty nuts
