BEIJING/TAIPEI (Reuters) - Chinese state media warned on Friday that the country could go to war over Taiwan if the United States passes into law a bill promoting closer U.S. ties with the self-ruled island that China claims as its own.

Taiwan ofc doesn't want to be China's out house. And China does want control of everything and every country in all the China Seas.
In this instance I feel like the US should be siding with Taiwan.

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, has told South Korean envoys that his country is willing to begin negotiations with the United States on abandoning its nuclear weapons and that it would suspend all nuclear and missile tests while it is engaged in such talks, South Korean officials said on Tuesday.

During the envoys’ two-day visit to Pyongyang, the North’s capital, which ended on Tuesday, the two Koreas also agreed to hold a summit meeting between Mr. Kim and President Moon Jae-in of South Korea on the countries’ border in late April, Mr. Moon’s office said in a statement.

“The North Korean side clearly stated its willingness to denuclearize,” the statement said. “It made it clear that it would have no reason to keep nuclear weapons if the military threat to the North was eliminated and its security guaranteed.”

If the statement is corroborated by North Korea, it would be the first time Mr. Kim has indicated that his government is willing to discuss giving up nuclear weapons in return for security guarantees from the United States. Until now, North Korea has said its nuclear weapons were not for bargaining away.

“The North expressed its willingness to hold a heartfelt dialogue with the United States on the issues of denuclearization and normalizing relations with the United States,” the statement said. “It made it clear that while dialogue is continuing, it will not attempt any strategic provocations, such as nuclear and ballistic missile tests.”

North Korea also promised the UN he wouldn't make ANY nukes. We can see how that worked out.

1994 clinton made a framework agreement with nk, US would reduce hostile acts while NK would stop their nuke program. And they did stop.
But then Bush came in power and immediately torn the agreement to shreds, disrupting NK's financial transactions.

So NK backed off and started to rebuild the nukes.

We all know how the US keeps their promises...

Possibly, but nothing to do with the NK promising the UN not to build nukes.

How did the US fuk up? By being in SK to protect them and Japan?
Or should we just come back to the US so NK can run all over SK and Japan, and we only have to cross a 5,000 mile ocean to help. :/

I've mentioned it my previous posts, you can try to derail again going towards another talking point, and you probably will try again, with more misleading information.

There is nothing wrong with us being in SK and Japan. Both countries want us there and we aren't bothering NK.
Someone is trying to pass misleading information and it's not me.

Hell, we aren't even in NK because of NK, we are there because of China and the South China Sea.
CVhina thinks they own they entire China Sea, which is against International Maritime Law. Now that may not bother you, but it bothers everyone in the area except NK and China.
You can pretend these facts don't exist all you want, but that doesn't make it true.
