John is both ice and fire. It's a reference to him, something they built up since day 1. It's not about a fight.

He'll team with Danny and defeat all their enemies and then defeat the walkers. Danny will take her rightful place on the throne, being John's aunt, she would be next in line and John will be king of the North, like his uncle before him.
