Playing skyrim on xb1, hit a bug on the quest "touching the sky". After talking to Knight-Paladin Gelebor, the portal that is supposed to open up in the wayshrine won't open. I've reloaded my last save multiple times, bugs out every time. The only fixes I've found on other sites just say to reload the last save. It's a long shot posting this here, but does anybody have an idea on how to fix this?

are you playing with mods?

No I'm not. Currently playing offline, haven't been online since I installed it, so there could be a patch that fixes it I guess.

Can't go online until this weekend when I'm back at school lol. I didn't see anything about it in any patch notes so I have no idea if that'll actually fix it.

Try downloading the unofficial patch, but that would be a mod.

This should fix it but yeah it would disable achievements.

Do you have a save before you accepted the quest?

If so, download the patch and then load that save, should work. The unofficial patch fixes hundreds of bugs like this.

I do somewhere, but I've played quite a bit since. After the portal didn't pop, I loaded a save before I was in the area. So I have the quest, but I haven't been in the cave on my current save.
