Signed up for a savage race, lol.. I’m flipping gears for a few months to get ready for this meet.. I’m going to cut about 40 lbs, so I’m sort of putting powerlifting on a hiatus.. Still lifting, but starting to mix in a lot more cardio and a deficit.

I’m still lifting, just stopping my % for awhile.

I’ll probably keep my maxes the same and just do a hypertrophy block mixed with some explosive training, that’ll probably get me ready just fine.

Eh.. I'm doing Raynors cutting routine.

Monday was day 1 of my diet.. I'd love to cut down to 190 and see how I look/feel before putting myself back on maintenance calories/a small surplus.

Start weight: 238

"I might have loaded with salt the day before the weigh ins at my gym :wub:

I wish I didn't have to, but shit I add weight on like no one's bidness.

It's cool mang.. I'll starve myself for 8 weeks during this cut just so I can hit 2500 cals a day again and be back to normal..

Mostly HIIT..

IMO its more pseudo hiit, I'll jog at a 5mph pace on the treadmill for 90 seconds and run at a 10.5 for 30 seconds and do that for 30 minutes
