How is that something to use against us? I found it hilarious that he took your team to new heights without even bothering with training camp and OTAs and still outperformed almost everyone in the NFC the first year in MIN. Knowing that it took the Vikings literally taking our former QB to win was very amusing (among the half dozen other players).

You don't think Favre feels like fuck ppl would've remeber I was still at the top of my game when I retired, now in like few decades no one will remember he was a jet or a Viking.. but now as I say this mabye Favre wanted that lol

Kinda like what colts did with manning

These two posts confirmed my suspicion that you don't really pay attention to the NFL off-season.

Packers knew Favre wasn't done but the front office couldn't justify paying Rodgers a boatload of money to sit on the bench. Tension was plenty high after the last couple seasons with both QBs in camp and during the season. Was more a matter of seeing what we had with Rodgers than booting Favre out the door tbh.

After plenty of years to contemplate the ordeal, I commend Favre's cunning ability to get what he wanted no matter what. The trade stipulations for Favre to go to an NFC North rival were outrageous and impossible for a team to match, so he "retired", took a brief detour in NY and got exactly what he wanted in playing for Minnesota. Guy was a fucking deviant and I love it

Yo Adrian!

Houston Fox 26 reporter John Donnelly was doing a normal story on how to stay safe in a road rage incident, talking to people on the street. You’ve seen these types of TV news stories before; they’re fairly common.

What was unusual here is that the man on the street Donnelly interviewed happened to be future Pro Football Hall of Famer Adrian Peterson … and Donnelly had no idea.

The story comes via TVNewsStoryTellers.com, and it’s awesome. At the end of the interview, Donnelly asks the guy he’s been talking to about road rage his name, like he would with anyone else, and the subject says “Adrian Peterson.”

“Wait a minute, you’re not … ” Donnelly said.

“Yeah,” Peterson says after a brief, awkward pause.

Chad Greenway retiring after 11 seasons. Damn, was really hoping he had one more year :(

So glad to see him end his career here though
