Funding = the ability. Like I said if it warranted the price it would cost Microsoft could buy out Sony with pocket change compared to the money that company makes. In terms of hardware and performance, while PlayStation has had better hardware since the PS3, you don't think Microsoft, the company that revolutionized the technology industry, has the ability to make the Xbox more powerful than the PlayStation lol? PlayStation is one of the largest components, if not the largest part of Sony. Xbox is nothing but a very minute branch of Microsoft.

xbox and playstation are pretty closely matched. The only people that give a shit which consoles sell more are the autistic ps fanboys who are too stupid to realize if you cared that much about performance you could build a pc stronger than ps4+xb1 combined for the price or cheaper than either console.

Enjoy which console you have and play whatever console's exclusives appeal to you instead of bitching about which is superior.

If you are saying that if Microsoft pooled all its money together from all arms of the company it could be the number one console (or whatever you want to call it) than sure. But, since we can agree that funding isn't the overt reason of Xbone being in second place (or whatever you want to say) then I would come to the conclusion that there is a lack of ability.

I can see what you are saying though.
Donald Trump wants to launch a console.
If Donald Trump was to market a console in the traditional marketplace it would probably fail due to his lack of ability/knowledge.

Do people honestly still believe the an Xbox 360/one is better than a ps3/ps4.. haven't you people ever looked at worldwide sales and system specs? xbox is better in America and that's it.. lol

Scorpio may be the strongest console, but even then.. Microsoft themselves I believe said that most won't be able use it anywhere close to its full potential, therefore is pretty useless..
